SGP Adds Great Lakes Graphics Association as its Newest Resource Partner

The Sayville, New York-based Sustainable Green Printing Partnership, a nonprofit organization that provides sustainability certification in the graphics communication industry, announces the Great Lakes Graphics Association (GLGA) as its newest resource partner.

According to the SGP, its resource partners are nonprofits, NGO’s (non-governmental organizations) or educational institutions engaged in promoting, teaching, or researching in the areas of graphic arts and/or sustainability. “Resource Partners are subject matter experts that assure our entire community is empowered with the acumen to advance sustainability in the printing industry supply chain,” the SGP says.

The GLGA is heavily involved with SGP, between the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources and the printing industry in the Midwest. Through this effort, GLGA has been able to promote a greater interest in both SGP, as well as Green Tier, a program through the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources that supports efforts to improve the green bottom line in different companies across the state.

The GLGA says it intends to continue to encourage both GLGA members and prospects to utilize the different resources provided by the Sustainable Green Printing Partnership.
