InkSoft celebrates its 10th anniversary. The company’s official birthday was last month on October 8.
“In 2009, major online e-tailers were disrupting the marketplace and taking business away from brick-and-mortar establishments,” the company says in a press release. “It was at this time that InkSoft asked ‘Why aren’t traditional print shop and garment decorators selling online?’”
Since then, the company has seen a handful of significant changes, both internally and externally. In 2016, the company opened a new 10,000 sq. ft. headquarters in Tempe, Arizona, near Arizona State University. Since then, the company has grown its workforce and, more recently, announced the acquisition of Digital Art Solutions.
On a broader scale, co-founder JP Hunt says he’s seen “big changes from outside the company (including) a major attitude shift and adoption of e-commerce and digital marketing.”
Hunt adds, for the near term, that the company plans to continue to invest in developing new technologies to serve its customers. Many of these investments, he notes, “will be targeted to e-commerce and personalization innovations.”
The company plans to mark the anniversary with a celebration for employees and family in November 2019.
