GraphicElephants.com Launches Tee-Towels Website

GraphicElephants.com launches a new website for its line of decorated towels, tee-towels.com. The website showcases a variety of towels customized with screen printing, direct-to-garment printing, and monogramming.

Inspired by the common household item from the late 1930s and early 1940s, Tee-Towels founder Jane Winters says her designs also draw from childhood experiences.

“My grandmother embroidered tea towels while I was growing up on the farming homestead in Nebraska,” explains Winters. “We used them on special occasions and holidays and were always a conversation piece.”

Winters says the goal of the towels is to combine “form with function,” offering both holiday-specific designs, as well as everyday looks.

While the Tee-Towels website covers the soft substrate category, Winters says the site also offers sublimated hard goods with similar designs. Through e-commerce, she adds, the company hopes to expand into various markets outside of wearables, including home décor and arts and crafts.

“We are expanding into other kitchen items such as aprons, hot pads, tote bags, and looking at hard goods like dinner wear to emblazon with some of our great original art,” Winters states.
