Engraving Concepts Hosts Two-Day Laser Boot Camp


Houston-based Epilog Laser distributor Engraving Concepts hosts its two-day intensive Laser Boot Camp on October 13-14 at the Four Points by Sheraton, Houston Hobby Airport, 8720 Gulf Freeway.

According to the company, these hands-on workshops are specifically designed for new laser owners, new laser operators, and prospective laser owners; however, the company says that all laser operators will pick up on valuable tips and tricks.

Laser experts will lead the sessions beginning on Friday, October 13 at 1 p.m. with hands-on laser demonstrations by the Engraving Concepts Sales and Support Team. A Corel Basics course will be held from 3-4:30 p.m. by Jimmy DuBose, and Michael Evans will present the Care and Cleaning of Your Laser from 4:45-5:45. The first day will conclude with Randy Allen’s Lasering Photos from 6-7 p.m.

Day Two of the Laser Boot Camp will begin with New Laserable Products from JDS Industries at 9 a.m. by DuBose, followed by New Corel X8 Features, presented by Allen from 10:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. The Laser Q&A will be held from 12:15-1 p.m., with another round of laser demonstrations from the sales and support team from 1-3 p.m.

Registration is $75 per person in advance and $95 per person at the door and includes breakfast on Saturday morning.
