ColDesi and BelQuette unveil plans to combine companies. The organizations say the agreement comes after a “long history” of collaborating on joint projects.
Under the combined company, sales, service, and support operate under the ColDesi banner for BelQuette’s direct-to-garment products as well as ColDesi direct-to-garment goods. The company says the move provides its customers with greater access to support and more than 40 years of combined expertise under one roof.
“Thought leaders and innovators are the first things that come to mind when you think about BelQuette,” states Scott Colman, president of ColDesi. “I’ve known Brett (Weibel) and Mark (Mombourquette) from BelQuette since the beginning and couldn’t be more excited to combine our companies.”
Co-founders Weibel and Mombourquette began their digital printing business in 2002, venturing into the direct-to-garment world after developing a digital direct-to-fingernail printer known as the Imaginail.
“This has been in the works for some time and we’re very excited to see it finally complete,” states Weibel. “It’s great for our customers because they’ll get the same great support from the same great people that they’re used to, but with even more resources behind them.”
Weibel notes that the company has a “long list” of development projects planned, including a few scheduled to reach market in the near term.
With the shift, customers can still contact BelQuette staff with current phone numbers and email addresses. BelQuette also notes all collaborations with industry partners will move forward.
