A&E Exclusive: Rowmark Names New President of Company

Rowmark announces Eric Hausserman as its president, which is a new role within the company’s structure. Hausserman transitioned into the role officially on August 26, 2019, following his time as Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Rowmark.

“We’re thrilled to have Eric in the role of president for Rowmark,” says Jim Ellward, Rowmark CEO. “Eric has extensive experience with our customer base and our manufacturing operation, and I know our customers will benefit from his knowledge of the industry.”

Hausserman has been with the company for 19 years and has been an active member of the plastics industry for 30 years. He originates from Ionia, Michigan; he received his Bachelor of Science from Western Michigan University and his MBA at Indiana Wesleyan University.

In addition to his duties at Rowmark, he is currently on the board of directors for PolymerOhio, an organization that supports plastics companies.

Rowmark’s new president is also on the Board of Education for Vanlue (Ohio) Local Schools and is an active volunteer for the Vanlue Music Boosters. For the past 16 years, he has been a volunteer and member of the Board of Directors for Cancer Patient Services, a Hancock County, Ohio nonprofit organization. Hausserman is active with the local United Way in Hancock County, where he was the 2018 chair for the corporate division of the local campaign.

“We’ve got a very talented, experienced team at Rowmark, and they truly care about the quality and variety of products we provide our customers,” says Hausserman. “We’re already working on the next generation of engravable sheet products, and I’m excited about what the future holds for our company.”

With his experience and a firm grasp on the plastics industry as a whole, the company says it looks forward to Hausserman using that knowledge to find new and innovative materials to offer customers. “Eric is committed to continue to grow the Rowmark brand and product line both domestically and with our international partners,” Ellward states.

The company adds that customers can expect a continued focus on product quality and innovation. The change in leadership at Rowmark does not impact any other Rowmark-owned companies.
