Google has announced the release of a new tool that will test your website’s mobile-friendliness and page speed for desktop and mobile. The new tool will give you some great insight as to how your web properties are performing.
The key aspects of this tool include seeing all three scores on one page, a more comprehensive report sent to your email address, and Google will provide you a 0 out of a 100 score for how mobile-friendly your website is, as opposed to if it is mobile-friendly or not.
According to Google, nearly half of all mobile users leave a site if the pages don’t load in three seconds. Desktop users can behave in the same manner should any content get in the way of their current task. With mobile devices and tablets becoming more popular among today’s consumers, fine tuning your web properties to accommodate them is certainly a priority for anyone looking to succeed in internet marketing.
