We can all enjoy our work if we think about it as the main reason for our existence in the business world — to serve our clients the best we know how. It is important to learn our trade, but it is more important to establish our own beliefs and list of character positions with which we will build our businesses. It is important to build your business on principles that are you, not your competitor or someone you want to duplicate. The ideas and principles must be your own, what you are willing to live by — they must be part of you in all that you do. Your character and your business must work currently if both are to survive and prosper.
As you select the area of business that you want to seek, relax and search for those that you can relate with and enjoy being around. Remember: you aren’t likely to sell everyone, but there will be a segment of business waiting for you if you simply relate to the group.
