Take Your Clients on a Business Tour

Stephen L. Capper, along with his wife, Nora, and their daughters, Jami and Toni, owns and operates A-1 Awards, Inc. in Indianapolis. He has been associated with the awards and recognition industry for over 45 years, and has given numerous seminars since 1979.

There may be a time when it is advantageous to show your production equipment to a client to build confidence. We take many clients on scheduled tours to show and instill in them that we do have the ability and support to take care of their wants and needs. The normal client most likely doesn’t have a lot of interest in seeing your equipment as long as they are convinced you can deliver as promised. If you are dealing with a prime account, then I believe confidence is an important factor to build the relationship with the client. For that reason, schedule a complete tour of your production facility, warehouse, and perhaps even a board room lunch.
