Now Trending in Sandcarving: Drinkware

Peter Norman is the director of sales for IKONICS Imaging. He has been with IKONICS Corporation for 19 years, and currently manages IKONICS Imaging domestic and export sales.

Our customers are interested in higher end glass products, so these customers gravitate toward sandcarving due to the high-perceived value of decorated glass. Specifically, I’ve seen a lot more customers who are interested in decorated drinkware. I think we’ll begin to see a rise in shops adding sandcarving to accomplish custom sandcarved wine bottles, flasks, barware, and more.
