Integrate the Community in Your Marketing

Use your town’s name in your marketing. Try to integrate the name of your community into any advertising and publicity that you do. For example, if the name of your business is Mabel’s Awards, you might want to use the tag line “of Anytown USA.” Without changing your name, you have now become Mabel’s Awards of Anytown, and potential customers who live in Anytown are more apt to do business with a hometown business. The tagline builds an association with your business location.
