Gluing Glass to Glass with UV Adhesive

Liz Haas has been a teacher, trainer and show coordinator for Rayzist Photomask for the past 15 years. For the past 10 years, she has actively taught workshops on the photoresist and the sandcarving process.

It is important to use a UV adhesive for gluing glass/crystal to glass/crystal or even glass to stone. A UV adhesive is specially designed to bond glass to glass and is optically clear. An applicator tip is often provided with the UV adhesive to control the amount of adhesive that is distributed when UV gluing, and a UV source is required to activate the bond. A UV adhesive provides a permanent bond with beautiful results.

Note: UV adhesive is light sensitive. Place the cap on the bottle when not in use. UV protective glasses are recommended during application.
