CorelDRAW Tips: Break Paragraph Text Apart

Bob Hagel and his wife Dana own Eagle’s Mark Awards & Signs, offering a full line of personalized products using laser engraving, sand etching, and full-color UV direct print on products. They have offered awards, recognition, and signage products to organizations for more then a decade in the Southern California wine country.

To break Paragraph text apart in CorelDRAW, there are three stages of breaking the text:

  1. Select the paragraph, then on your top menu select Object>BreakParagraphTextApart (Ctrl+K), this will break the paragraph into new paragraphs for each sentence.
  2. To break a sentence into words, complete the process again.
  3. To break the words into individual letters, complete the process one more time.

Each time you break the Paragraph Text apart, you create a new and smaller editable paragraph. This process may save you time, especially when you have lots of laser projects.
