If a customer is unable to stay connected with you via social media, I’d advise answering with a friendly, “If you’d like to subscribe to our email newsletter, you can stay informed that way.” While social media marketing is a leading method for reaching today’s consumers, email has not vanished from the toolbox. Every consumer has a preference of some sort, and to reach them all, you must consider those preferences in total.
It falls right in line with the question, “Which social media platform should I use?” For maximum results, the answer is all of them. Some users prefer Facebook only. Others spend their entire day on Twitter. And as this question suggests, some people don’t care for social media at all and might prefer simply being on a mailing list or receiving a Christmas card once a year.
