Just Brush It Off

When blasting with fine-grit-size abrasive such as 220 or finer, you notice that your project is covered with abrasive dust once you finish blasting. To avoid getting the abrasive out into the air of our shop, we keep soft 2”-wide brushes inside of our cabinets. Once you stop blasting, leave the dust collector running, open the door carefully and then brush off most of the dust (one never gets it all!) inside of the cabinet with the dust collector evacuating the dust. You will be able to keep your shop much cleaner this way.
