Since all blasting systems use hoses to connect the individual components, it is a good idea to check the conditions of these on a regular basis. This is especially true for any more flexible hoses inside of the blasting cabinet, which are usually air hoses and not reinforced abrasive hoses. Wherever such a hose is bent, the abrasive is most likely to wear a hole through the hose. This will eventually happen to the reinforced hoses as well. If you spot a wear in a hose, change it out right away to avoid getting abrasive all over your work area.
