When finished with your blasting work for the day, it is a good practice to make sure that no one can get hurt by operating the blaster by accident. With all pressure pots being operated by foot pedals these days, it is so easy for someone to step on it and start the abrasive flowing under pressure. This could be a big problem if the door of the cabinet was left partially open, since it will shoot abrasive out into the room, or if you have left a project in the cabinet, it will get ruined by the sudden abrasive blast. Therefore, I recommend that you depressurize your blaster completely as soon as you are done for the day.
